I was pretty underwhelmed as well in 2012. It just wasn't the type of atmosphere that I thought I would have seen.

A&M has Kanye, smoke, fireworks, dance team chicks with flags, and a Rev. Our entrance holds its own.

The '08 LSU game was the first time I actually remember hearing it. It was only played once in the middle of the game, the fans and students enjoyed it but it was nothing big.
It took off in our '09 win vs #4 OM. Since then it has been a stable and started to become known as "an SC thing"

I don't like the piped in music during the game for the most part -- especially when it is played over the band. It is great when the team is getting ready to enter the field, though. The content of some of the selected music makes it unfamily friendly.

Piped in music sucks. I cringe when they play Bitch from from Louisiana on the sound system during kickoffs. Much rather the band play something... Anything but piped in music. Sandstorm is just the shittiest of choices of piped in music
