01 started the death rattle when fat chavis couldn't stop a simple qb draw. Then les finished off fat phil in 07 with another back up qb.

They weren't very good in 07 though. Our 7-6 team that lost to ULM beat them something like 45-17.

That "retarded back up" qb was ranked #1 at his position.

UGA was a much much better team than us by the end of that year. We got in though by virtue of trashing them head to head in game 5 or 6 of the season.

Very true. While they finished the regular season 9-3, all three of their losses were by 14 points or more. They lost 45-31 to California, 59-20 to Florida, and 41-17 to Alabama.

On February 2, 2005, The Boston Globe wrote a feature checking up on the former Patriot quarterback. In the article, the Globe quotes Hodson as saying: "Although I didn’t have great success as a professional I played six years and it was a great honor to play in the NFL. I am grateful I was able to play six years.” The Globe reported that Hodson lives in Baton Rouge with his wife and his 10-year-old identical twin daughters, and quoted Hodson as saying that he lives in Baton Rouge because he has "fond memories" at LSU and because Baton Rouge is "a good place to raise a family.”

not possible until we get rid of divisions. LSU and bama can't meet in the sec title game.

I agree with this, however the year we played UGA, was one whale of a game. Obviously they belonged.

LSU will pass Tennessee as the SEC's 2nd most successful program in about 5 years.

LSU and Tennessee yes. Should be a great game. 24-20 type game. Two teams with veteran defenses, great back fields, and Dual threat Qb's. Almost mirror images

Vandy and Arkansas would indeed be epic.

Not when the best teams are all in the west. Arkie would have won the east last year.

And??? We're sitting on multiple top 5 recruiting classes and what is likely to be the number one class this year.
