Why do you want LSU to give up their locker room so badly? What's to gain, really? Such an odd thing to be upset about after everything going on.

LSU is gonna offer hospitality like they've never seen and probably will never see in a competitors stadium.

In 2007 following the campus shootings at VaTech, the Hokies went to Tiger Stadium (as the away team) and while LSU dominated the game, the fans and university extended a sympathetic shoulder (2 yrs removed from Katrina & Rita). The students wore VaTech gear with LSU gear. Monies were collected for the victims families and given to the administrative entities to take back. A huge remembrance quilt was made and given to Tech student body. The tailgaters brought extra chairs and offered every VaTech fan walking by a seat at the table to enjoy the cooking and drinking. The crowd gave the VaTech players a standing applause and loud cheers.

The Gamecock fans that make the game will have the college game day experience of their lifetime.

People on this board create their own reality, especially with regards to LSU since we are a majority on here by a lot. When something goes counter to that perception, you have people that will lash out, like the Bama fan getting mad that the things LSU have done and plan to do are being pointed out. It's such a transparent reaction. If LSU didn't get the false stereotypes, people wouldn't feel the need to point out when it's shown to be false.

The LSU Band also played the Va Tech Alma Mater before the game as well from what I remember.

People know that LSU fans can be quite hospitable. I'm sure you all will be gracious to South Carolina fans this weekend.

But the "stereotypes" aren't false. They're probably overbroad, maybe outdated, etc. But it's not like people just sat around coming up with shite to accuse the LSU fan base of.

Sorry about that balloon full of piss that you got hit with, or that time your cancer stricken granny was shoved down the steps in tiger stadium.

The myth of LSU fans is laughably false. LSU is no worse than others at our worst, and probably better than most at our best.

GRTiger: It's totally false guys!

SEC: Not really, no.

Glad we settled that.

I've seen LSU voted as the best away game experience many times on this board. Most of the hate comes from people who've never been, but they "have a friend" that went and got stabbed and shite on or something ridiculous.

I could care less about a locker room honestly. Having a different locker room isn't going to win the football game. Having a different sideline isn't going to win the game. The whole "home game" thing is nothing but a technicality now anyways.

LSU's doing a hell of a lot for us, they of all people are not obligated to give us any more than they already have.
