I do know that sitting on row 2 and the 50 yeard line the noise just decends down on you. I couldn't hear for a couple of days and could barely speak. I hope that the noise is louder this time and if I ever sit that low again I will bring ear plugs.

Given that Blake Simms isn't the best on the road, LSU may have a chance at some huge negative plays/turn-overs early. If that happens, the place will be nut-balls.

And aggies don't need to be talking about ANYONE being somebody's Super Bowl...you beat Alabama once three seasons ago and you're STILL hanging your hat on it today.

In their defense, it is an awfully big hat.

iger Stadium was pretty rowdy for Ole Piss, but didn't even come close to the level that it was for Bama in 2012.
I expect it to be just as crazy as 2012, if not a tad bit worse. Ole Miss gets up for LSU more so than LSU gets up for Ole Miss. This year was the exception.

I think Ole Miss this year was louder than Bama 2012. I was in the same seats for both games and fans just never quit almost the entire Ole Miss game.

“I think it’ll be pretty physical and pretty loud and probably like a repeat of the Ole Miss game -- maybe a little more exciting,”

I expect Beckwith to make an impact in this one.

Yes it will be wilder as long as the game is close. Ole miss was loud start to finish but some of the upper decks weren't filled.

I sat in the same seats s well for both games, season tickets.
For Ole Miss, it was loud but my girlfriend and I could easily talk throughout the game.
Bama 2012, there was little to no communication between the two of us because we couldn't hear. I couldn't talk right for the next 2 days after that game. Guess it was just our section.

There are some LSU fans that think Ole Miss is LSU's biggest rival. I for one think its Bama.

Disclosure: Bama fans might want to stay home for this one. We got business to take care of Saturday night!

Bama manages to make sure they get a bye week before LSU each year
Both teams get a bye or a cupcake opponent before they play each other every year.

Bama is gonna come out just as jacked as LSU because this has been a HUGE game for nearly a decade.
Mututal respect for both teams - this game is always brutal.

Bama is a bigger draw and has the potential to fetch a higher price on the secondary market. Therefore, I would guess Saturday you will see more of the leather jacket and turtleneck crowd that will leave at halftime, so I say no.

The new expansion holds in even more noise very well.
I am not sure if the Ole Miss was the loudest game, but I can't ever remember my ears literally hurting from the noise before.

I realize there is a new endzone deck but it's hard to imagine it being any louder than the 2012 Alabama/LSU game was.
