I know that it has been pumped up that way, but it isn't looking like this series will ever be competitive. LSU has pretty much dominated the last 3 meetings since 2011 and the margin only looks to be getting bigger in the future.

Maybe Alabama-A&M will become a rivalry since A&M has beaten Alabama and the other game was pretty close.

It seems that LSU is destined not to have any rivals. It's a shame too. I was hoping that A&M would be competitive.

At least Ole Miss shows up against LSU and beats the Tigers once in a while. Ole Miss is usually a mess, but their life depends on beating LSU and they do it as much as anyone. So, credit to them.

I don't see A&M being relevant after JFF

So, the answer is "no," I guess.

I could rephrase the question to, "What will it take for A&M-LSU to ever become a rivalry?" It is possible, obviously. But, what will it take for it to happen? How can A&M beat LSU in the future?

LSU tends to play down to their competition. A&M will always have a shot to win

You'll always be 3rd on Auburn's rivals list

They weren't really relevant before or even during JFF. The Aggies claim to fame over the last 30 years is that they beat Bama once.

Well it was a pretty good rivalry back in the day before the series was canceled. So I can see it coming back. If we can build a defense that will help, and I really want to see our offense not the JFF show. I know there will be a drop off but I don't think it will be as large as a lot of people think. Back to the question. Yeah I think it can become a good rivalry it just needs to follow it's natural course and develop.

I know this is a troll thread but yes. The size of the LSU/A&M alumni/fan base in Houston alone is absolutely huge. Will start getting good when (if) A&M can ever beat us

Since Tulane is our biggest rival, i think if they work hard A&M can reach that status
