Seriously, before Saban, you were meh or dog shite.
We Were 26-20 against your sorry arse before saban stepped foot on campus.

That's one way to look at it. We also haven't lost in BR since 1990. Since then it was 5 straight before you guys tucked tail and ran.

Longest winning streak in the series?
6 Games LSU 1960-1965
Do either matter any more than the fact that we beat the last two years, in your own state? No

So what you're saying is that the 12th man is a joke?

Woooooooooo!!! TOTAL DOMINATION!!!
Hey, did you know that from 1943 to 1986, all our games were played in Baton Rouge?

Oddly, in 1943, we beat you in BR, and you got a rematch in the Orange Bowl.

Ole Miss has never beaten A&M even though we've been playing since 1911.

So you're saying at AD dominated you for 40 years, as bad as our Football Team dominated you for 40 years?

That's funny. I used that same tactic with the fricking longhorns. Did you know, since the series began 1899, the fricking longhorns have a .250 winning percentage against Vandy?

But y'all never lose on the road!?
Posted on 10/9/13 at 4:19 pm to SammyTiger
No, fricktard, I am saying that a 6-win margin is pretty shitty, given that you got to play practically ALL THE DAMN GAMES at the vaunted "Death Valley".
Are you saying that BR home field advantage is meaningless?

So you say LSU's program wasn't shite before Saban. Then when presented a W/L record showing LSU was better than you during that time period, you throw out the road game argument, which happened to be the original premise of this thread?
Just step away.

No. I said it's funny how LSU A&M fans talk down the Texas A&M fans when they were both pretty shitty.
That guy's posting the head to head in response to my statement that LSU A&M was not good before Saban is only a good argument if we assume that Texas A&M fans are arguing that Texas A&M was worth a shite after 1940 and before 1985. Find me ON AGGIE that believes we were.
But, make no mistake, you LSU A&M fans are brilliant at twisting shite and deflecting. Much respect for that.

Fine. So we can agree that our programs were "meh" in the modern era but before the 2000s. I'm not following the rest of the argument. In the latest series between the two teams, LSU went 4-6 with 3 of the 4 wins coming in Baton Rouge.

Just that we get LSU fans talking down to us like there's a huge difference between the programs, especially right now. LSU finished ahead of A&M last season in the SEC West, but A&M finished ranked higher. So, even now, the two are not too much different.
As to the OP, it was obviously a troll, probably aimed at our A&M counterpart across the Sabine (aka YOU).
It's gonna be a fun game in November. The Gulf War is looking like THE big rivalry game in or involving the State of Texas.

Considering we are 22-10-1 in BR I would say we have a home field advantage.

WE also beat you head to head. So sports writers asside we are better than you on the field.

I feel pretty good about an LSU A&M rivalry. We have played your team more than any other team outside the Old SEC. You don't play texas anymore, and we share a border. I would be down for being your non instate rival.
