I have a feeling you are on an island. I can't see The University of Arkansas ever joining up with tu again, and take a pay cut in the process.
Now LSU, on the other hand, would get an education in how a conference is run from Belmont. After a few years they'd think Sankey and Co. are Boy Scouts.
And I'd be in favor of UH replacing them.

It would be fun to watch LSU do a "trial separation" and play in the XII for a year or two. I'd love seeing a highly ranked LSU team succumb to phantom calls in Lubbock, and watching them react when they get bs calls against tu that help tu win a game.
It would even be more fun to watch their dismay as the tu AD acts as the conference commissioner and speaks for the league.
And Ames is lovely in November.
