I never watched her video until tonight.

Man, I thought my wife was crazy.
Last time I saw a woman as crazy as Kristi Malzahn was when some woman sat next to me in a plane on the runway in Vegas. She was a supralapsarian Calvinist married to a magician and was absolutely fricking batty. I was 20, she was 29. We got a hotel room after we landed. Had a good time and got to know her pretty well that evening but I'm glad I grew out of that kind of thing.

"why do you care so much about the state of Arkansas?"

He's an AR State wolf. He told me he came here to live vicariously as an LSU fan so he would know how if feels to beat the Hogs. That's the story anyway.

The not playing instate idea is continued so that we do not cause an in-state rival which could dilute the rather tiny talent pool of our state

If the Gus Bus gets rolling you will have no choice to play them....again be proactive before it is used against you by Gus on the local recruiting trail. Jes saying.

Malzahn will own the state in recruiting numbers...problem will be that they start outside the top 10 which is = to outside the top 200 in Texas

Gus is going to destroy UCA and Tech's recruiting.

Meh, he may snag the occasional top ten player from outside of NWA who wouldn't have been able to qualify at Arkansas.

In March 1987, for the only time since 1948, Arkansas played Arkansas State in basketball.

To set the stage: Nolan Richardson was in his second season at Arkansas and, before the contest against ASU, had compiled a record of 30-29 at the school. Speculation was rampant that a loss to the then-Indians - whom, along with other in-state schools, Frank Broyles refused to schedule regular-season games against - would result in Nolan getting canned.

Richardson has long maintained that Frank assured him before the game that his job was safe, regardless of how the game against ASU turned out. However, I have always found it hard to believe that Frank wouldn't have fired Nolan if the Hogs had lost this game. This, after all, is a man who fired Jack Crowe immediately following a season-opening loss to The Citadel, and losing to Arkansas State surely ranked very, very high on the athletic director's list of nightmare scenarios.

and BOOM..the Athletic Department is scared of ASU. We have our answer.

Yet Auburn doesn't play UAB or USA. Might be because they are scared.

If Ark want to be "like the Big 6" then they need to be "like the Big 6!! That's a whole lot of SEC Champions willing to "risk" playing ASU!

FWIW - The SEC teams below that played ASU have won 80 of 91 SEC Championships that have been awarded.

Auburn has won SEC and BCS Championships..they have nothing to prove.

Fact: They are terrified of playing South Alabama.

If the best way to do that was to beat Sun Belt teams, Arkansas would already be very legitimate because they do that on an annual basis.

Your sudden concern for the what's good for football in the State of Arkansas is quite touching.

Hi. I'm really Jeff Long, athletic director for the University of Arkansas. Your concerns are valid. Please give me a call at your earliest convenience so that we can discuss this more. My number is 479-571-giveitarestyoufrickincorndog.

Great hire for ASU for sure.

They still should not be allowed on the same field as the Hogs. No upside at all. Screw the In... I mean red wolves.
