You obviously don't understand what this sentence means. Controlling your own destiny means that you need no help and all you have to do is keep winning. This was not the case for you because as long as Ole Miss kept winning you were fricked. You got help from LSU and AUB to keep that from being a problem. Again that means you did not control your own destiny.

I'll clear this discussion up and stop it in its tracks right now. Genro is talking about the playoffs, while Emanonion (or whatever) is talking about the SECCG.

Since this thread was about screwing Aubs chances of getting to ATL I would guess that makes Genro an even bigger idiot then I at first thought if your assertion is true.

Auburn is hoping for an Alabama win over Mississippi State, an Auburn win over Alabama and an Ole Miss win over Mississippi State... We need all of that to get into the SEC Championship game. And we also need to win out against Georgia, Samford and Alabama. However, if that were to happen for Auburn somehow and we managed to win the SEC Championship Game, could we make the playoffs?
