Thy played the schedule to get in , and dropped slightly because they weren't conference champs . I don't have a problem with that .

It was so obvious that they thought Ohio State was 2 but put them 3 to at least pretend about the conference championship thing

Token gesture with the same matchup

OSU went out and played Oklahoma. What did Penn State do? The head to head holds water until you lose to Pitt..

I just still think Michigan is better than Oh St. They were hosed by too many horrible calls.

Ohio State lost to Penn State on a blocked field goal return for a touchdown. Some people call that a fluke. Some call Field goal returns for touchdowns shite happens. Just a quality loss for the buckeyes. I can't think of another underdog team ever returning a Field goal for a touchdown like that to win the game late.

I think one thing that hurt Penn St was that the exact same thing happened last year in regards to Mich St and Sparty got blown out and a lot of people lamented OSU being left out.

I can't t believe penn state won last night. I don't think they are that good

But the arm punt jump balls killed the Badgers. Wide receivers better than secondary

And Ohio State didn't even win its division. Should be confined to conference champs. If you're not No. 1 in your division,or conference, how can you lay claim to No. 1 in the nation.

If we're going to start ignoring conference champions, then we should just open it up to 64 and make college football's regular season as irrelevant as college basketball's.

That is exactly what Jim Delaney argued for and the rest of the conferences including the SEC voted it down. You don't like it then blame your own conference.

That argument is bullshite. Wisconsin lost straight up to Ohio State and had one more conference loss but still got to play for the conference championship because their division is shite. The whole conference champion argument is useless unless you do a round robin. I want the 4 best teams in the playoffs not the 4 best conference champions.
