Is Saban still not going to Bama?

Exactly. There is only so much you can pay without pissing off other ADs or the REC. If it just was down to money, we would just say "frick it Will, you get $5 mil a year too" and call it a day. Cutting a check is easier than recruiting him.

Are you trying to make a joke relevant to 8 years ago?

FYI, Muschamp is on vacation out of the country, so no decisions will be made in the near future.
I'm thinking he is waiting to see if a good HC position opens up.

It's Official now...on wikipedia.

On December 5, 2014, Will was hired as the Defensive Coordinator/Head Coach in waiting, (unconfirmed) replacing Lorenzo Ward. Muschamp will seek to turn around a defense that was one of the worst in SEC history. When Dabo Swinney, head cheerleader at MooU heard about the hire, he ran home crying to his Momma. Chad Morris, head coach of SMU, laughed because he dodged a huge bullet. Mark Richt, UGA head coach, requested prayer for his offensive players

Just get your agent to put out some feelers to some NFL teams and if that doesn't pan out then sit on your arse and your millions for a season and see what presents itself next year.
lol Muschamp could have a head coaching job at a smaller school if wanted, he doesn't need to take a step down in title at A&M, come on.

I'm pretty sure after a couple years coordinating a good defense, he'll be able to land a better head coaching job than USCe.

Hey I heard muschamp was at the market....did anyone get any pictures?

You don't get to post "serious info" and then scoff at those of us taking that info seriously

Is it possible WM has backed off being a HC for the time being. I don't know. He clearly doesn't know how to judge OCs. It seems to me everyone is going to offensive minded HCs & maybe WM feels he can become an elite DC. This is all pure speculation on my part. The reason I say this is if you cannot succeed at UF as a head coach how do you expect to succeed at any other program?
