Wow, I missed this little nugget.

Do people even research anything on here?

Clearly not. Dude did not know ^^^.

Oh and Arky. Champ never lost to Arky at UF.

Muschamp is good with the secondary. In the short term, that will be huge benefit for Auburn because that has been a weakness recently.

Long term roster management is an issue though.

I'm not too worried about roster management. Gus Malzahn has given Will Muschamp full control of the defense, but our staff knows when Junior College players are needed.

Losing takes a toll on the mentality of a team - McElwain & staff probably have a lot of work to do the get those players mentally tough. I think Jones & Bielemia have had similar hills to climb in the last couple of years too.

They are probably on the coffee table in the Gump Home for the Elderly where you reside. Look there.

Florida and auburn are both in for a rough year thanks to Muschump.

Why did we have him as coach? WHY!?

I'm sorry, but going 2-0 against Florida while having the #6 (#2 in the SEC) and #8 (#1 in the SEC) ranked defenses trumps your argument

I wonder what UF's national ranking and their offense ranking were in those years?

Wait, yes, I do know. In 2006, UF was ranked #2 in the country coming into Auburn (their offense that year finished #19th in the country (#2 in the SEC) in total offense and, in 2007, UF was ranked #4 in the country when Auburn went to Gainseville (their offense that year finished #14th in the country (#1 in the SEC) in total offense.

In comparison, Auburn finished #76 in total offense in 2006 and #97 in 2007. We did, however, finish #19 in the country in total defense in 2006 and #6 in 2007.

I don't think the Quote in the OP has anything to do with Will. It's not too surprising to have some loss of focus in the middle of the spring practice period and he Mac was ripping into them for that

It didn't have anything to do with Will. The condition of the roster has everything to do with Will but not the comments the arse hat linked in the OP.

Will douched us over on roster only. He left some pretty trouble free kids even though many of them aren't talented enough to help us win the SEC.

He's one of the best DCs in the nation and thats what Auburn hired him for. Gator fans just sour that they've only had 4 great seasons since Spurrier left.

It's going to take time for McElwain to get them right mentally. Muschamp has probably already ruined the Auburn locker room. Congrats, Auburn.
