Will Misery add more rocks or artificial turf for their hill renovation?

Either way, guess that keeps them ahead of Vandy in the SEC high school stadium battle.

We're putting in exercise bikes, so fans can get in a workout as they watch Missouri football.
Don't worry Texas, you will get your own fleet of bikes:

Your obsession with Missouri is bizarre and confirmation you're not a Texas fan.

Faurot Field capacity is around 62,600 now...which would have made it the 3rd largest stadium in the old Big-12, but would have dropped to 4th last year (about 1,000 behind BYU).

It's not the size of the stadium, but the motion in the ocean, or something like that.

Will you pussies actually install grass?
That is the real question.

I hope so, I wouldn’t want SECRant poster Aggie in TN to think we’re pussies. :(

There is only 2 options that could be used for Faurot Field tall fescue and GrassMaster. GrassMaster is combination of turf and natural grass that is used by the Green Bay Packers, Philadelphia Eagles, and a lot of soccer stadiums in Europe. GrassMaster is to expensive for college teams to use.
Part of the problem Mizzou has had in the past with natural grass is the the high water table, limestone, clay, flooding and a Missouri State Park a half mile from Mizzou Arena. Tall Fescue is good on clay, over a high water table, in humidity, and it would be good for when it gets cold in October and November. It struggles in high temperature and high traffic, but with maintenance that isn’t a issue.
A lot of stadiums are built on a high water table, but not the combination of of what is under and around Faurot Field. Alone most of those issues wouldn’t be a problem.
The proximity to the state park and flooding areas is a big problem. It is legally hard to make changes to the soil that close.
A few summers ago the creek that is a few feet deep flooded over 21 feet. Flooding could also be a problem with changes to the soil.
Engineer’s and the Chiefs field maintenance came and tried to find a viable option they recommended to stay with turf.
I’m sure they will probably try again in the next decade, but the field will not stand up to the problems.
