You are correct. The game played on 9/14/13 between the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Texas A&M Aggies was indeed in doubt for the Tide, as they were down 14-0 early in the game. Alabama would rally to lead 35-14, but as it appeared Alabama was heading to a run away victory, a few big fourth quarter plays put Texas A&M right back in it. Luckily for Alabama, AJ McCarron would once again rise to the occasion as he threw a Touchdown pass to Jalston Fowler in the closing minutes of the ball game to secure an Alabama victory in College Station, Texas.

Alabama is better than LSU in football. LSU is better in everything else. Oh wait my mistake, LSU lost to Alabama at their place last night. That DEFINITELY means they are better than us at basketball AND they are better than LSU at everything like the OP said.

For the record I was listing LSU's last 4 bowl games in a response to someone else. The fact that some of these LSU fans are not able to understand this is amazing.

Agreed but if we're talking college towns, specifically in the SEC, LSU and Alabama are middle of the pack at best.
A lot of it is personal preference, but I like Gainesville, Knoxville, and Athens myself. Auburn too.
