It's not even a given that 5-7 teams will be bowl bound this year. It's still up in the air.

And it would be the most Kentucky thing ever to accept a bowl invite with a 5-7 record.

Any self respecting school would turn down a bowl with a losing record.

Really, would they? Even fat arse Bert would take a team for the extra practice. You dumbass.

Aggies turned you down.
LSU turned you down.
Ole Miss and State have each other.
Alabama and Auburn laughed at your application.
Mizzou was forced to play you.

Sorry, our rivalry spot is already taken, too. Try Kansas. They're already in your name. Might as well be in your head, too.

It's going to be pretty bad having 5-7 teams in bowls. I love CFB, and I'm all for having bowl games even if it is Middle Tennessee vs Akron I'll watch. However, the number of bowls has gotten out of control. It needs to be cut back to 35. That way 70 teams have to be bowl eligible. Right now I think at least 9 teams out of 14 need to win to have enough 6 win teams to fill out the bowls. Probably won't happen. On that note if I'm Kentucky there is no way I turn down extra practice time. Hopefully, Kentucky whips trashy Petrino so they don't have to worry about it.

No team with underclassmen taking majority of the snaps is going to turn down an extra month of practice.

Just what Kentucky needs, more practice.

They had spring ball, fall camp, three months of actual games and lost to fricking Vanderbilt.

But a few more practices should really turn things around!

Holy Toledo, we lost to fricking Vanderbilt. At least it was on their field.

Yeah, finishing 5-8 will really do a lot for your program. Making a bowl with a losing record will do wonders for recruiting.

Well, you can easily see the level of my interest in a football rivalry with Arky, since our programs are equivalent. Arky is the Kentucky of the West.

Holy Texas Tech, we lost to Vanderbilt. At least it was on their field, and an SEC team.

I see how this works.

Well, time to go to grandmother's house for Thanksgiving. Happy Thanksgiving, Stonedhog. Don't choke on a hambone.

Must suck knowing the few teams in the SEC that UK has a winning record, it would be the Hogs.

It should max at 64 including the CFP

In a perfect world 8 regular season wins for P5's and 9 wins for non P5's should be the rule.
