Unfortunatley, UGA/AU and LSU/UF most likely won't because they already meet in the regular season. UGA/Bama has a very real shot at happening in about 5 weeks.

the loser of the UF/LSU game always gets the shaft generally cause it puts them one game behind in the division while only one other West team has to do the same thing

Yeah I obviously understand why it hurts LSU to play a big boy East school every year.
I just found it interesting that there are 5 rematches in SECCG history, but none of those included a permanent rival rematch. Georgia got back in it that one year and played LSU even after LSU beat them.

I think if Alabama meets Georgia in Hotlanta...Mark Richt should have another " Blackout" game like he did in 2008 against us in Athens. It really worked to Georgia' s Advantage!!

hurts UF too when both are good
would hurt UT Bama as well if both were good but only one is
it would hurt UGA if both you and Auburn were good in the same year, with all the changes it eliminates teams earlier in conference than needed

One was Bama-Florida in 1999. The other was Auburn-Florida in 2000. They might have still be designated rivals at that point in time though.

I think UGA has a small chance against Bama. Bama beats them 4 out of 5 times but football is a funny game.

Georgia had better hope not.
Alabama is already far and away the better team, and then when you look at the teams you'll realize UGA does not match up with Bama well at all.
