Over recent years Bama has opened the season with some significant matchups from OOC. Granted they have seldom lived up to the hype once the game started but I just wonder if the experience getting prepared for what is supposed to be a big challenege early will be an advantage over A&M this year. Just wanted to hear y'alls thoughts.

advantage over what? the public spin is increasing on Bama's abysmal schedule this year.

I don't think timing will matter on the aTm game. Bama has to learn what to do with Manziel.

True, not saying they don't. Just wondering about A&Ms early loss againt big a big team last year and some of the key holes they have to fill and get synced up. Granted Bama has some holes too, but I was just htinking in terms of the staff having the experience getting players ready for a big game very early in the season is all. Don't know that it will make a difference at all, that's why I'm asking for opinions.

Alabama is gonna beat tech by 40 or more. And I'm being generous.

I'm not talking about tech this year....in past years.
They haven't finished the season well since then, but there was plenty of hype for them at the start of quite a few seasons. Again, I'm not referring to what reality proved to be the quality of the team, but rather the mental aspect of preping for a team that is supposed to be a great matchup. I just wonder if it has any kind of impact or not.

Biased officiating, ESPN hype, cheating, and pro-Bama conspiracies in the SEC office will give us an advantage.

Yep, it'll be as bad or worse than the Michigan game this past season
