The rant is underestimating Bert. Rich Rod got ran out of Michigan but he was still a good coach. Going from one extreme to another in scheme is a tough transition.

Hasn't LSU pretty much owned Arky even though there have been close calls?

Yeah they totally own us.

LSU won in 2013 (one score)
LSU won in 2012 (one score)
LSU won in 2011 (big)
Arkansas won in 2010 (mercy knee)
LSU won in 2009 (apparently out of bounds means the hashmark)
Arkansas won in 2008 (one score)
Arkansas won in 2007 (3 OT over #1 LSU)

Lsu also won in '05 and '06 (when arky won the west). The series is at 6-3 under Les.

Great analysis. Here are some real reasons why Arkansas has a good shot at winning:

The game is in Fayetteville.
Arkansas has two weeks to prepare.
Lsu plays Alabama the week prior.
You have no answer for Hunter Henry.
The teams are evenly matched coaching wise.

He is looking at another 3-9 season, including an 0-8 SEC campaign, and an arse kicking from TT.

It will be damn near impossible for Long to justify keeping a coach that doesn't win a conference game in two seasons.

So my answer is no.
