Against Michigan or a QB option?

I was watching the Sugar Bowl from last year and Michigans Defense could do Nothing when Logan was running the option to the sides.

AJ isn't an option QB, but couldn't Sims run it?

Or just run the Wildcat with one of the backs

If its that blatant to me should be that way for UA's coaching staff

VaTech picked up about 10+yds everytime they ran it.

Bama is going to crush Michigan. If you watch that games replay you will be able to tell right away

Getting Bama -12 is a gift from Vegas. Heading there to lay a large wager today

We never used in last year with Blake Sims. I don't think Doug Nussmeier ever used it at Washington.

Yeah I guess just running the power o or doing a pitch would work just as good

This is going to get ugly early

I would be surprised if we did it. It's not like Saban to tailor our offense towards a team's apparent weakness. His style is usually here's what we're going and we're going to do it well try to stop it.

Unless Blake Sims ball security issues are completely fixed I don't see him as anything other than mop up duty again.

Straight wildcat with Lacy is possible I suppose but I don't expect it

To be honest. The only player we consistently used the wildcat with was Mark Ingram. We never used it in 2007 and Ingram was basically the only one who ran it from 2008-2010, with the exception of Trent 1 or 2 times.

Ever since the end of fall camp last year, things with Blake Sims have been quiet. The guy is a ghost now. He didn't have any meaningful playing time in the spring game. Not sure how or if he will ever contribute.
