I thought yesterday was surreal - Ole Miss getting all those top recruits and one kid's mom running off with his LOI.

I can't even name you a single player on the Alabama basketball roster - save Trevor Releford. And the only reason I know that is because of a game of NCAA Football we played against each other in Coleman Coliseum one time.

We care about basketball as much as LSU fans care about baseball. In fact, last year Alabama basketball averaged TWICE what LSU typically does and averaged more fans per game than Mississippi State's arena holds. Only Kentucky, Tennessee, Vandy, and Arkansas averaged more fans than Alabama last year and last year wasn't anything special on the court. Alabama baseball is routinely in the Top 20 in attendance each year as well. So much for only caring about one sport.

Since the series started in 1895 Alabama holds a dominating series lead over LSU of 47-25-5, with the most recent game being a 21-17 win by the Crimson Tide. Also since the series inception, Alabama has 15 National Championships and 27 conference titles compared to LSU's 3 and 14.
No matter what timeline you try to go by or how you try to corndog it, the above statements are 100% true.
So you just have to deal with that.

Alabama has a significant series lead in basketball and football. I don't consider college baseball to be on the same level, so I didn't look it up, but I concede LSU has the better baseball program by a significant margin.
As for football:
Series lead - Bama, by a significant margin.
Titles - Bama by a significant margin
Recent years - Bama, by a small margin.
In neither of the two major sports is LSU even second in the conference In BOTH of the two major sports Alabama is in first or second place.
