The whole "disrespect" line was total crap from the 2 incompetent and incontinent idiots in the booth.

They can barely get the down and distance correct much less formulate a reasonable football statement.

aTm was getting their best/fastest team on the field on D to do their best to limit what Bama could do. They don't have huge LBs ready to clog the middle, so where hoping the Dline could be disruptive enough and the rest of the D could then flow in.

TLDR: CBS sucks

Yeah, little piggy!
I REALLY missed Chavis when LSU stopped Florida on that final drive. He had become famous for throwing the game when a team needed a score to win.

Oh, and to answer your question... No... we will stop the run first and force you to pass.

You won't have to "force" us

Oh yeah. Definitely.

And they'll get tired of that after awhile and bring up more guys to defend the run and then get burned for it same as Florida did.

Cameron called a lights out game for that. You bite one direction, he's going to hurt you. Our offense is not even remotely one dimensional.

I fully expect Saban to put up the best defense we'll see, but this year is going to be the biggest test they'll ever see.

With our best LB out with injury, the coaches thought our safety an nickel were better option than the backup LB. It backfired. We switched of it.

But screw Gary and all this "disrespect" bullshite. He's just a homer getting all bent out of shape...

If they do that i will be ecstatic. Our front five is no joke. We put up 200+ on a stout front 7-8 on Florida. Fournette will get his no matter what they stack up.

Yeah... because he has done so much to Bama his first two chances he has had. Maybe this year he can average three yards per carry. Get out of here with that smack.

He looks fourty... forgot he was only in year two. Doesn't matter anyway. LSU has averaged something like 2.6 YPC over the last four games or so against Bama. This game will be no different. Enjoy.

Bama is playing Tennessee. I thought LSU was playing West Kentucky.

Does LSu still have a fullback? I thought he was injured.

Should have just said "I'm an idiot and don't know what I'm talking about" and we would have gotten the picture.

Since aTm lining up in nickel for much of the game was "disrespect" to Alabama according to either Verne or Gary Saturday, do you see Bama doing this to LSU when LSU runs its standard offense?

I ask because it seems like Bama would want to get Minkah Fitzpatrick on the field as much as possible, and he hasn't been playing at a regular corner spot as far as I know.
Minkah is good in run support. Bama will test it early to see how it holds up against the run. If the D-line and LBs can make the stop in the nickel for minimal gains then I'm sure they'd stay in it. If not they will have to go to the 3-4 and try and stop the run that way.
