What were your preseason assessments of those three players?

Moss hadn't played in his first two years in BR due to foot injuries.

Most LSU fans had 5* RB J Emery being the starter by the first open date. Not many were too high on CEH.

EVERYONE in the SEC was saying Burrow was lower tier SEC QB.

To answer your questions. YES YES and time will tell

Nah. Alabama can get by on talent alone.
Every weekend this year Bama will just roll the helmet out there.

You got any more Mosses?

Yes. His replacement is the highest rated TE ever in the 247 rankings.

Or CEHs for that matter?

We have 4 RBs on the roster that were ranked higher than Clyde.

Or Burrows?

Remains to be seen, but since there's never been a QB like him statistically I highly doubt it. I guess it's a good thing that the team around the QB is stacked.

Or will the refs let the best team win? My bet is that Birmingham's soul is still sold to Saban.

Looks like you're getting ready early for that arse whipping!

How Southern Cal gets that much talent and still sucks is beyond me.

Remember how mad their fans were when Moss was forced out of bounds then came back in to make an amazing catch ultimately leading to a 33-13 halftime lead?

Maybe it is finally over. No denying the Patrick Peterson interception a few years ago where he got not one but both feet down and somehow it wasn’t an interception. Maybe refs no longer fear the infirm version of Saban.

Arik Gilbert is a day 1 starter. Think Derek Stingley Jr type performance but at TE.

He’s going to terrorize defenses for 3 full seasons.

I certainly hope it will.

Watching opposing fans become more and more unhinged as the season goes on and struggling to explain why the calls against Bama don't matter while the ones for Bama came precisely when the momentum was about to change is one of the most entertaining parts of the season.

Bonus points if it leads to bitching about schedules, cross-division opponents, the location of SEC offices, billboards, or calling the FBI.

that looks a lot like the '19 projections. How did that turn out for the mighty crimson tide?

Hopefully we won't be down to 5 true freshmen starting in the defensive front seven again.

It’s a good point. Unfortunately not many people are going to read through the thread before replying to your first post. Just be patient with more people who will miss the point, grasshopper.

You do realize Diggs touched the ball first right?

None of that matters since the ref never called Moss out of bounds correctly to start with.

That has to be the worse case of roster management I have ever seen. How many players did saban have to miss on for that to happen?
