Please explain the advantage Alabama had in a 50/50 stadium. Who has the advantage in Jacksonville every year?

1. Everyone knows the ticket split was never 50/50 when the city of Bham got tens of thousands of tickets.

2. Bama played almost every home game there every year for about 70 years. They knew the field. It is an astro turf field with a shitty crown. Bama players were used to it and comfortable with the field and surroundings. It was home.

3. If you do not think there was a significant difference between playing on the old turf at Legion Field vs natural grass (what AU played most games on), you just don't know. I played on that shitty LF turf back in the early and mid 90's. It takes getting used to just running on it. You cleets get caught and you trip and fall constantly until you learn how to pick up your feet and run on it. I know I did cutting in and out of routes when our coaches would take us to practice on it the day before games to try and get used to it.

More fans, regular home field, turf vs grass. All were part of the 54 years of home field advantage bama enjoyed against AU.

So the artificial turf caused Bama to dominate Auburn in Bham. Maybe you guys just weren't that good for a while. Bama pretty much dominated the SEC in the 60s and 70s. Auburn won 1 conference championship from '32 to '83.

You personify the Auburn subset of the SEC Little Brother Complex. You believe in it and you love it too.

Why did Auburn even agree to play it in Birmingham for so long?

look when you haven't even cracked double digit SEC titles and your main rival has a winning record against every team in the conference

where the game is being played ain't the problem

Lil bros have an inferiority complex.

That is the complete opposite of me, so your observation couldn't be more wrong.

If you haven't figured out I think Bama is beneath AU I don't know what to tell you.

AU is a better university, better education, better fan base, better campus, better college experience, better for future earnings, etc.

I view AU as greater than Bama in about every way. Sure Bama has won more football games, but that is because that is all they have and have always been willing to cheat more and get dirtier than anyone else.

Maybe I'm a bit of a homer, but AU is bamas daddy son.

No you are just a bit crazy and let your blind hatred influence your judgement. It's ok though, we forgive you.

you reckon? Your excuse for Alabama's dominance of Auburn in B'ham is pathetic and shows your lack of credibility pertaining to anything Alabama/Auburn..sorry.

LOL at the young uns that forget that AU played home games at Legion Field also. And could have played more if they wanted to even out the "home field advantage" Bama had. You know, that crazy crowned field was hard to figure out.

Let's do the math. Auburn trails by 8 now, right? 43-35-1?

If Auburn wins 9 out of the next 10 it's tied 44-44-1. Not happening. It's 5-5 in the last 10.

15 years Auburn would need to win 12. That would make it 47-46-1 AU. Auburn is 9-6 in the last 15.

20 years, Auburn needs 15. That would make it 50-48-1. Auburn is 11-9 in the last 20.

25 years, Auburn needs 17. Would be 52-50-1. Auburn is 12-13 in the last 25 years.

30 years, Auburn needs 19. Would be 54-53-1. The last 30 years Auburn is 16-14. Need 3 more wins in the next 30 years to make it.

35 years, Auburn needs 22. Would be 57-55-1. The last 35 years Auburn is 18-17.

40 years, Auburn needs 24. Would be 59-58-1. Auburn 18-22 in the last 40 years.
