Auburn's defense is improving and Ford is turning into a playmaker, but it's not going to embarrass FSU. I too though, think Auburn could win it by a couple of TD's as the game could be similar to the Mizzou game.. a back and forth, until they're worn down with the running attack Auburn has.

Mizzou had no freakin' defense.
FSU has a defense - a real (NFL player type) defense.
They have had it all year.
Just like when Oregon runs into NFL-caliber lineman...this Auburn choo-choo train won't be humming like they did against Mizzou...

FSU D > Bama's D and it's not like Auburn ran all over Bama.

Y'all are luckier than a motherfricker to be where you are. Two miracles in back to back games...... The type that most teams won't get but maybe once in a generation.
One of those came against a very average UGA team.
Keep our expectations low. That way, when you lose, your butt won't sting as much. Should another miracle occur, it will be that much sweeter.
Either way, it takes some ridiculous delusion or absolute ignorance to believe that Auburn's one dimensional offense and suck defense is a better squad than FSU.

FSU did some nice stat padding in that conference. They'll be exposed to a degree and won't be near the defense you expect them to be in the NC game.

This isn't that Oregon team. It's not even close. They are bigger, stronger, and more physical at every single position. They will run up the gut as much as the want, and their Heisman winning QB will throw to beastly receivers at will.

A) Mizzou had one of the most highly touted D-lines coming into the SECCG
B) Auburn had almost 300 rush yards against Bama (296 IIRC) I'd call that running all over them.

Auburn held that vaunted Alabama offense to 28 points just fine. Take away a poor angle on a "miracle" 99 yard touchdown pass and we only allowed 3 touchdown drives.
We stuffed Georgia - who runs a very similar offense to Florida State - for three quarters just fine.
We may not have an iron curtain, but I like us to keep Florida State under 30 points. Our running game slashes and dashes everyone including a Nick Saban defense that was dominating opposing run games.
