FSU ranks 80th nationally in sacks allowed per game.... while ranking 73rd in passing attempts per game... how can that be with such an awesome OL.

For the third time now, we will point out that Winston tends to hold onto the ball a long time.

You haven't watched them. Probably not a single time.

This logic is great for simpletons, and those who disregard the offensive styles of both teams, and the fact that so many of FSU's games were blowouts.

how would you describe jimbo's offense?... i'm betting 'smashmouth'....

i have watched plenty of FSU... they are a great football team... best team in the nation, but this notion that you're perpetuating is fricking ridiculous.... no, they are not flawless.

I agree with this. If you pay attention to Mr. Dramatic, you'd think Auburn is about to step on the field with the Patriots in their prime.

Pretty much, no.

Auburn - 4364 Rushing yards this year w/ 6.5 ypc.

FSU - 2696 Rushing yards w/ 5.7 ypc.

So again, no.

I can see you have a hard time following along.

FSU pulled starters early in many games, and was running vanilla running plays late, where teams knew what was coming.

Their style is different is is more of a smash mouth running style that relies less on misdirection that AU's game. They might have a smaller YPC, but their o-line is better.

So you think the ACC is on par with the SEC?

There were a few games where Auburn ran Kiehl Frazier up the middle over and over again.

So? AU has still been a more effective running team.

You say this as if I don't support my argument with anything.

AU fans have been ignoring statistical evidence throughout the thread, and like to tell us about how Florida beat Ohio State years ago, and how the ACC sucks.

But even you agree that the ACC sucks. So, given that UF is down, what proof do you have that FSU can stay on the field with the SEC's top brass? All your statistics are FSU playing against what we all agree is a garbage conference -- much worse this year than in the years past.

AU has proven they can play on the field. Your arguments must rely on FSU's ACC schedule.

His offense is all over the place, but is much more "smashmouth" at times than AU's ever is.

the notion that jimbo's offense is 'smashmouth' is fricking laughable... is this your first year watching FSU football?

Jimbo's offense is driven by the QB, bottom line... they cannot line up and run on teams, like an Alabama or LSU.... this is the first time at FSU they've been ranked inside the top 20 in rush offense... and it just so happens to coincide with best QB play since Fisher got to Tallahassee.

2012 -- 24th
2011 -- 104th
2010 -- 39th
2009-- 59th
2008 -- 34th
2007 -- 91st
2006 -- 27th (LSU OC)
2005 -- 41st (LSU OC)

I've never said, or even insinuated that they are flawless. They are just significantly better than AU in the vast majority of major aspects of the game.

Again, what is fricking ridiculous is comparing this AU team to Bama '92.

i won't disagree with that... two completely different styles on both sides of the ball... plus one didn't lose a game.

If you listen to AU fans, apparently, FSU is about to play Bama '92.

Me stating that FSU will manhandle your shite defense =/= thinking that FSU is unbeatable. FSU is damn good offensively, but just as good as they are, AU's defense is that bad.

They throw to set up the run more then vice versa, but they run out of multiple formations, and don't completely rely on misdirection, like AU, so yes, they are more "smashmouth" than AU is, by a longshot.

They can line up and punch you in the mouth. If you disagree, you haven't watched them at all. Their o-line is strong as frick, as are their RBs.

Speculation -- Pure speculation. We know AU can, they have actually done it.

Hypothetically, Bama won the NC this year and AU went 8-4; but also Hypocritically I'm married to a supermodel and I'm a billionaire.

Go look at his comment in the thread about if Gus really did that great of job. At the end of the day, miyagi is a Bama fan discussing Auburn and it shows.

I'll take your word for it but I was hoping he was the real thing.
