Ole Miss lost to LSU this year. Let that sink in.

It's a shame we beat ourselves in Baton Rouge and played down to the competition. Let that sink in.

Just think about how TCU is at least 36 points better than LSU, probably more since TCU did it away from home and LSU had to have night in Death Valley.

The last time Alabama beat themselves against LSU, Russia had a semblance of an economy and the Arab Spring was a big deal.

You have never witnessed your football team play for a conference title. Let that sink in.

The greatest team in your school's history got destroyed by a mediocre Alabama team on the biggest stage in conference history. Let that sink in.

I think the way it works if teams play twice you just net the scores, itsofacto Alabama didn't lose that season. Science.

It took Urban Meyer one chance to beat Nick Saban while at Ohio State. Meanwhile, in Baton Rouge, LSU has lost four straight games to Alabama

Because they are 2-2 against eachother? Makes sense.

That Alabama team would run a train on most other SEC champ teams.

stupid post. bama has been a top flight team under Bryant and under saban (ok a year under stallings). other than under those coaches they've been average or worse. when they got saban, they had been turned down by every available coach in the business.

what i'm saying is the HC is damn near everything. bama with a mediocre coach will be mediocre. I guess you weren't around when bear Bryant left. no one could measure up; NO ONE. following a legend just doesn't pan out; never has and never will.

Ray Perkins, Bill Curry, Mike DuBose, Dennis Franchione and Mike Shula all had at least one 10 win season.

Perkins finished 3rd or higher in the SEC 3/4 years.

Curry won 70% of his SEC games and won an SEC Title.

Stallings went 70-16-1 and 44-9-1 in the SEC,won an SEC Title and a National Title.

DuBose was a joke and he won 10 games and an SEC Title.

Fran went 17-8, 10-6 in the SEC and finished first in the West while on probation.

Shula sucked. Still won 10 games one year though.

Not to even mention the coaches pre-Bryant.

But yea, only legends can win games at Alabama. Other than that it's Vanderbilt.

Can I not call a spade a spade just because he is old?

He completely wrote off, I don't know, a metric frickton of SEC and national championships under the guise of "only legends can win in Tuscaloosa."
