Yes you read it correctly. The "best Bammer defender" is getting unreasonable #1 overall pick hype. He isn't taking over games or greatly affecting offensive game plans like some think. Georgia shut him down. If you rewatch the Cincinnati game, he was a nonfactor. It's so bad even Aggies are calling him out.
Why do gump players receive so much hype when we know they're not that good? The NFL shows it that they're a product of ESPN bias.

I don't expect it to go well because everyone believes in the media. But watch the games. He isn't as dominant as some think.

Agreed. Seriously. There were games last year where he disappeared. I call it the Tua syndrome.
When his motor is running, he is unstoppable but he tends to take plays off. At A&M last year, he might as well have been at the club because his mind and body were not into that game.....and he has been reminded of that on sportstalk here locally.

That's because he had four sacks against your poor line and pass heavy scheme. Any decent rusher will get that. But against real competition he was a non factor.
