I for one am glad that Will Anderson got snubbed on a couple of awards he should have won and that Davis won.
This will keep Anderson hungry and, conversely, it will hopefully let Davis stop eating so he can play past the 1st quarter. Works out well for both players.

I am amazed at the number of Alabama fans that think Anderson has been holding back and that this is f=going to motivate him.

Dude. Anderson doesn't need some meaningless award to validate him. He is a great player and will be drafted top 5, probably.

All trolling aside....Anderson probably deserves the Heisman. He is definitely a dominant player and made an impact on every game he played in. I think it's a shame they refuse to acknowledge defensive players for this award.
Some of the Alabama fans seem a bit unhinged over awards this year, though.

I will assume you mean some of the Alabama fans, since I'm not melting and really don't care much about awards. They are nice to be recognized for the players, but really mean little or nothing in the grand scheme of things. I doubt the NFL cares about who got what award. Until recently the Heisman was more miss than hit.

Jordan Davis is the perfect example of media hype shaping reality instead of vice versa. Will Anderson deserves all the accolades he receives and more. He's the best player in college football and likely the best defensive player to ever play under Saban.
