no, no it wouldn't happen. if alabama goes undeafeated, they are in. period. voters will not drop them below #1 if they are unbeaten and even with the drop in the computers, that alone would still be enough

Doesn't matter. Bama has to lose to be pushed out of the BCS title game. Style points are reserved for the fraud teams such as Ohio State, Missouri, etc.

Bama vs Oregon if they win every remaining game by one point each.

It took a last second field goal block (2nd of the day for Mt Cody) in 2009 to secure a 2 point margin of victory of 12-10 against an unranked inferior UT team at BDS to keep Bama at #1 so...No.

As long as Bama comes away with a W tomorrow and throughout the remainder of the season whether by a margin of 1 or 50, they will be in the Pasadena. You don't leave out the back to back defending champ bc they WIN a close game against an inferior team.

Believe they could lose all of the first place votes and still be ahead of Oregon in the BCS rankings

Imagine a scenario where Auburn loses 2 of their remaining games. Mizzou loses to S.Car, LSU loses to A&M and Alabama. Mizzou beats A&M. shite hits the fan in that situation Alabama would have ranked wins over.. Virginia Tech (who probably loses to the U).. and pick one between LSU/A&M/Auburn. None or 1 wins in the top-15..

No way Oregon/FSU get left out against that. Not this year. Of course, they have to take care of business too.. and disaster could happen to their schedules also

As others have said, they just simply won't leave Alabama out if Bama is 13-0. They'll have the mindset of "They're the champions, they went unbeaten, they deserve to defend the title."

If they win, the red team will be in the championship game.

I think the will definitely lose dome votes, those few votes could impact the separation of O and FSU. It hasn't mattered at this point. But it does now.

The polls would still have Bama in it. They would drop in the computer polls but unless Bama loses they will be there. Same with Oregon. Doesn't matter what else happens. As long as the Ducks win out they will be there to get their spanking.

Doesnt Oregon still run no huddle late in the 4th qtr no matter the score or opponent? The Bama score against Tenn has no bearing on anything regarding Oregon.

Doesn't Oregon play their 2-3 rd teamed in the 4th. Most of the 4th if not all.

Their total us usually scored before the 4th starts.

Probably but they will still be number 1. You can wish all you want but "if" Bama wins out it doesn't matter the margin of victory. They are going to the title game. Bama still has to play probably three top 15 BCS teams. Do you really think they would be jumped if they win all of those?

Short answer: Yes.

Pollsters are impressed by lots of points. We can debate what SHOULD happen all we want, but the question wasn't whether Bama would be left out of the title game. It was whether we will lose votes if we don't dominate Tennessee. The answer is yes.

Won't matter... LSU will beat Bama... Ole Miss will beat Mizzou if Carolina loses today... No SEC team in the BCSNCG.

As much as I dislike that 'red' team, how in the hell can anyone justify taking votes away from an undefeated, two time defending champion that keeps on winning?

What the hell is in the water in Oregon?

What is up with all the Oregon Posters joining all the sudden. Do you you're just here because you wanna smack talk Bama should you win the BCSNC (That is, if you choke job quacks even get to the game). Unfortunately, your goal is mere fantasy, and will vanish like a dream upon waking.
