Bowl team.

Losing to The Barn, MSU, or Ar-kansas last year would have been a bigger embarrassment.

1) They have a really easy schedule. They play absolutely no one OOC (like LSU last year) and miss UGA and UF in the East.

2) They return a frickton of players and lost to some teams early in the year that they would've fricking stomped at the end of the year.

Ole Miss tried to lose to Vandy. Six turnovers. Penalties. It was a total disaster. We should have ran them off the field. At that point, I thought the Arkansas fans were right and that we sucked again. I don't think I've ever been so ill after a football game.

Then you know how Florida felt when they lost to OP.

I think Snead is a good QB.

OM's offense was anything but "explosive" last season.

I'd describe it as totally inconsistent.

They beat TTech at the Cotton Bowl. That suprised me, but OU led that same TT team 42-7 at halftime, when TT still had something to play for. TT didn't want to be back in the Cotton Bowl. If there is or was ever a BCS season at TTech, it was 2008.

I watched Ole Miss sneak out of Fayetteville with a win in 2008. I saw them get beat by Vandy, South Carolina and Wake Forest.

They beat Florida on a day that half of the SEC could have beaten Florida.

Their most impressive 2008 win was at LSU, IMO. And it turned out that LSU was very beatable.

I think Ole Miss will be about the same this year. Win one they shouldn't, lose some they shouldn't.

If I were a betting man, I'd bet they don't go to ATL.

Why? Ole Miss and Nutt history. LSU and Bama will both beat them. People forget they lost to Vandy last year.

HIstory in college football is the most overrated thing ever. Seriously, just because u win the national championship one year doesn't mean you will be awesome the next, and just because you go 0-8 in the SEC doesn't mean you'll be horrible the next year either. Its probable if this happens, but its certainly not for certain.

You're absolutely right. Since no one can foresee the future, I'm going with history until it proves me wrong.

History is something to be proud of. Just ask a bama fan. Yet it will not win the next game you play on sat. Just ask a Notre Dame fan.
