im surprised we are that high because of the auburn, ole miss and arky games and the bowl wasn't pretty.

chavis has really started to bother me with his lack of blitzing late in the year and running so much zone with 2 huge corners

We were #3 most of season then the late season collapse kinda hurt us. I am curious if the defense will improve next year honestly. I know I doubted them coming into this season and they proved me wrong. Of course I thought the offense would jump 30-40 spots and finish in the 60's or 70's as well and that didn't happen.

i still cant get over how he let auburn work us with his shitty game plan. i think the dline will be better. nevis seemed to take games off im hoping the freak can come right in and be a manchild for us.

the line was so good till the end of the year then i think they wore down. linebacker eh kinda worried id move hatcher since he sucks at safety to linebacker. he might be an ok hybrid till he chop blocks someone.

mo,trex, simon at corners reid and big poppa loston at safety.

we should be stout until the stupid soft zone fricks us over again

I didn't realize Rivals only has Johnson as a 4*

Reid I am really excited for, I started a few threads during the season about him. I think he can come in and become the next Steltz for us. Dude is more athletic than Steltz obviously but he has a nose for the ball.

LB worries me, I know many see Sheppard as a product of the Chavis system and while he wasn't flashy he was the leader of the D. Calling audibles, putting players in position, etc. They will be athletic at LB but will they be as good next year?

I don't see how they could start him over Reid, especially the way Reid played at end of season. Over Loston I could see that one however.

Don't JUDGE LSU's fanbase by the minority of DUMBASS'S on this board...Les Miles is appreciated and well thought of in Louisiana by the MAJORITY of the people...THAT'S ALL THAT MATTERS...can you say the same about your NUTT?...

Because LSu fans like most in the south actually understand the game and know when they see a coach underperforming in certain situations. W/L mean a great deal but how you acheive those is usually a good indicator of the future of the team. I really like Miles he is a great guy and a pretty good coach, but I am not upset at all he decided to stay. I will say on a personal note I think he messed up not taking the job at Michigan but only because it is his alma mater and I know he would have loved to restore his old school back to its former glory. In the end I think he may regret making the business decision and staying at the better job.

I'm happy he's staying.I'll be even happier if he shows Crowton the door.

the funny thing is slapdick that every other team in the country had as many or more losses than LSU that stat is irrelevant. No one gives a shite about Arkansas any way. GTFO and go on your own teams website

You will never understand because u r a Rebel fan. You guys accept mediocricy. We do not. We hold our coaches accountable. Until you have reached the success that LSU has, you will never understand why we aren't ever completely satisfied.

If you are ever satisfied, how do you maintain greatness? At least, that is how I like to look at it.

It may seem like 50 per cent on this board. But if you polled the Tiger Fans in Tiger stadium and those that perhaps dont get on this board, I believe that you would find that about 70 per cent or more support Miles.

WAFB did a poll yesterday and 72% were favorable to Miles staying on. 16% didn't care so that leaves 12% wanting him gone.

Like LSU fans need an Ole Miss fan telling us what we should be satisfied with!

We know Bear fans are happy to share an SEC West title(eventhough it was with the team who beat you)

LSU has 5 SEC titles in the last 40 years

Dont act like you are Kentucky basketball or some shite. The ONLY reason you guys are where you are now is because of Saban and MILES. They have elevated the program to it's current status.

From 1971-2000- 2 SEC titles in 30 years. You do know what its like to be mediocre

Vast but over-exposed minority complain about Miles, Crowton is a different story.
Having expectations that exceed beating MS St can sometimes breed discontent.
