It's the same stupidity that has permeated the entire college football WATCHING world, from fans to announcers to apparently the betting public (given that Mizzou is favored). All they see is offense and even then only the numbers. They see 800 yards and 70 points and they are enthralled. They totally ignore that Missouri in the first half on Saturday might have played the worst defense that has ever been played in the SEC. Putting up big offensive numbers against a shite team because you're in a shootout and you need them is nothing to be excited about.

Meanwhile, South Carolina beat a team that everybody pretty much agrees is a very good one, especially offensively. They gave up 15 fewer points and I don't know how many yards and actually beat a good opponent, but frick it, they "only" scored 35 and didn't put up 800 yards on a bunch of tackling dummies, so Missouri is favored.

It's comical how announcers and fans always do that. "Oh, that receiver or that QB or that RB is going to be the difference" because he did wind sprints for 1000 yards last week, with never a thought to the defense, who holds an explosive team to a reasonable level throughout the game and preserves a big win instead of getting sliced like a stick of butter by a high school chess club.

While I'm at it, **** Tennessee as well. How do u expect to win with mini brock lesnar as your head coach. USC will surpass you this year as well
