I hope Henry wins it. Great player and seems like a stand up guy. Only thing I've had an issue with on the SECR is the insinuation if Henry wins or his better than Fournette, then Fournette sucks and his overrated. Idiotic conclusion beyond comprehension.

Think he's a great back. I believe he has had work done to the grill. Not anti Henry here, I'm a Georgia fan so I'm a fan of good running backs.

Did you actually read my Post, I said other posters meaning Sec rant...I'm well aware people watch football outside the southeast..I was more less referencing ranters making threads about a player they probably didn't pay much attention to, less than a few weeks ago...again I'm not arguing DH, was just wondering why so much backlash from this site in general.

Because Derrick Henry isn't that good! There I said it. I can't wait till he wins the heisman so we never talk about him again and how forgettable he was.

What's not to like about DH? He seems like a good enough guy. And he was committed to my Dawgs for over a year. Good player, freakish size and speed. Never gets in trouble. Seems like a good, quite kid. Kind of like Leonard and Chubb come to think of it. All good dudes.

LSU fans are pissed dude. They are so mad from losing to Alabama they thought that Fournette winning the Heisman would give them some form of satisfaction for a while.
Now not only is Fournette not winning but it is probably going to an ALABAMA player.

I think people dislike him because he isn't super flashy (althought he has some flash)
He is like a lot of players at Bama.
Really good. Goes out there and does his job.
IF the Oline pushed for 3 yards he takes it. If the Oline gives him hole, he takes it.
He takes care of business more than anything, and when you get enough carries and the OLine does enough it leads to the stats you see.

Since this is a snub against Fournette, care to post total yards vs common opponents? I can tell you that you'll see why LSU fans are a bit irked at the "Fournette got contained down the stretch" story line. He had one bad game, and unfortunately it was against Henry's team. Henry's bad games were against weak competition early in the season, and therefore it's easy to forget about. He had to have a monster number of carries and extra game to surpass Fournette in yards. Is it really so hard to see why people are disappointed that Leonard isn't going to New York at all?

Because ever good back would love the opportunity to carry the ball as much as he does. Because Bo and Hershel would love to have p,aged in 14 games.
