I hate UGA way more than Flor. This has NOTHING to do with success. This has to do with Flor fans justifying an horrible act and whining about lesser crimes committed. Nobody is buying the Flor=victim angle. Give it up.

Tom288, not everybody thinks UF gets all the calls. that conspiracy theory is ludicrous, yet some people want to believe it so they do. to me, blaming the refs all the time is LOSER talk. loser talk simply defined as being the kind of talk losers participate in. also, when you are a winner, losers always look for ways to drag you down. true in life as well as sports. i hope to meet ya'll in ATL in Dec. if not, go get the SEC another damn NC!

Oh...you guys do the "Spikes was wrong" disclaimer, but you then try to justify with Tebow getting hit during the course of a play. You guys fail to see the severity of Spike's actions. "It happens all the time" or "He got hit earlier" are not justifiable excuses to downplay a horrendous display of douchebaggery.

Actually in no way did my post try to justify Spikes' actions. You're seeing what you want to see. As for those comments, I never made them. Care to try again?

That is unnecessary and should have been a flag, but not the same as going after eyes. Going after the eyes is criminal.

Tebow's hit was a missed call. Just like the missed calls that go Florida's way (offensive pass interference, etc.).

The hypocrisy of not being outraged about the hair pulling perpetrated by GAg players against Spikes, they actual eye poking that Spikes, and Tebow were subjected to, the bush league decapitation attempt on Brandon James, and the sucker punch on Haden. All done by GAg players, all caught in camera, and nobody gives a chit except the Spikes gate. That is hypocrisy.

Ummm, you do know that the status of the ball is not the sole criterion that determines the legality of a hit, right?

the difference is that if the ref saw this play he would have to call it. he would have definitely called it. when florida gets calls, the refs are turning a cheek or ruling the other way on purpose. like for example when they review a play and it's obvious and the just say f*** it and rule in favor of florida.

His coach probably told him to look for the fake handoff bootleg qb sweep and he recognized the play.
