The Bengals used to have the worst draft every year. As a Bengals fan I remember. Fortunately around 2004 owner Mike Brown realized you have to draft well all the way through not just with the first pick who eats all the money (Akili smith, Kijana Carter). And they've been having great draft after great draft since then.
