No way, but that wasn't the original question was it? Are you saying "everybody is doing it" is why the Gators players cheat?

Oh, ok my bad. I see what your saying now.

Actually I read on a pay site that some UF boosters were saying, Meyer had a meeting with Riley Cooper and the refs(before the game), and divised a plan. Riley would "cheat" and the refs would not call it. UF was not good enough to beat LSU and Cooper is not good enough to get open without cheating, so he pulled on Hawkins jersey, since it was the only way UF could win the game. The refs did thier part and collected some serious cash. No other team in the SEC has ever thought of plan like that, or even "cheating" for that matter. Word is, it may happen agian. I bet that nasty nick saban guy will try it sometime.

Gator fans in this thread, can you confirm this? I hate to give yall away, but did yall read this too?

Look dude, obviously you just want to argue. All I am saying is that by your logic every team cheats so why the hell is there a thread specifically calling out UF?

It should be called......

Why Must All Football Teams Cheat?

But it seems that the Gators do it far more. Maybe they just suck at keeping it hidden? I mean everyone and their mom can see it except the refs and even then the refs catch penalties on your opponents that didn't even happen. Apparently they just have their eyes focused on one team more than the other.

Do you think that maybe the reason?

First the jersey pull to get an advantage on the go-ahead touchdown in our game, now the eye-gouging BS....

They have a talanted squad, no doubt, but what a crappy way to play.

All wr do this if they can get away with it and listening to some of the old stories from NFL players and piles I dont know why this bothered me as much as it did; maybe because you still look at them like their kids.

I think you may be on to something. Some coaches teach fair play and some teach win at all costs. Urban Meyer seems to be a very lenient coach when it comes to unfair play. JMO

I bet you were brought up to believe that everyone should get a trophy for participation as well huh?

No, quite the contrary, actually. Jersey pulling aside, I was raised to play fair, and clean. I wasn't raised to intentionally try to hurt someone. And that continued through to collegiate level (SEC).

A non-Gator example...was it an oregon player that punched that kid during the first game of the season, then went after a few fans as well? I can't recall what team he was on for sure, but he should've been banned from ever playing collegiate ball again, in my opinion.

Maybe I have to spell this out for you...Florida is good enough to win without playing dirty....it's a compliment you tard, and a reflection on the un-needed lack of sportsmanship.
