Why isn't AJ McCarron a beloved figure at Alabama?

You look at Auburn and they worship Scam. That guy was only there for 6 months.
A lot of fans from other fanbases will say they're both douches, but AJ started 3 seasons and won two national championships for Bama as their QB. He won a ton of games. Bama's best QB during the Saban era, but doesn't receive as much love as a Jay Barker.
What did AJ do to not gain the love of the Bama fanbase? AJ has some of the same traits as Snake and Namath.

wasn't he kind of vocal after he left? maybe said a disparaging word or two that challenged god. I mean saban. nobody bad mouths saban and expects love from the bama faithful.

because he did not win the games. the team did. without Cam Auburn loses 4-5 games that year. he should be worshipped.

Because he was a part of Kick 6. Bama fans cannot embrace anyone who was a part of Kick 6. They don't even love Saban anymore.

I don't think it was AJ that spoke out against Saban, I think it was McElroy.
