The real answer is somewhere in between "they've only lost to top 5 teams!" and "they're a terrible team!"

There's no way they should be in the top 25 right now, but acting like the only SEC team that A&M is better than is Vandy is an overreaction.

Bama looked like a national champion last weekend. LSU looked like a very good SEC team. All games prior to that, Bama looked like a very good, not great, team, and LSU looked only mediocre at their best. Why is the truth so hard for us all to admit? Facts are facts.

I don't have a clue going forward, but I think LSU will have to have SIGNIFICANT improvement at QB to win at least 2 of last four.

Who knows with Bama.

Yards don't win football games. They were vastly overrated.

yards are an indication of offensive production, that's why is a start that is tracked and used for comparison. They also were able to put up points against both mississippi teams and probably could have knocked off ole miss without the turnovers.

Look, our offense is incredible at home. Its mediocre on the road. Thats because of Sims having to lean on kiffin to read the defenses for him. Thats why you see sims looking over at the sidelines before damn near every play.

Our defense on the other hand has finally got some key folks back into their positions which is allowing our better players to focus on THEIR jobs instead of having to try to overcompensate for some others. Getting Eddie Jackson back was huge. Collins was having to do so much that he was getting spread thin. Now they can all just focus on their jobs, not to mention that this far into the season, some of the young talent has finally started getting it.

I aint saying we are back to 09/11/12 form, but I am saying that our defense is coming together and most of our tough games from here on are at home, so it lines up well for us to finish the season strong. Its going to be interesting to see how Sims plays in Death Valley though.

Well A&M was top 10 when state killed them so that was why we got praise. Now that win just looks like we did what we were supposed to do. The LSU win is looking better now, and obviously the auburn win shows we are legit

WCA, I don't know whether you are serious or just jacking with this guy.

He is probably posting from a phone

You are probably young enough that you have never had a phone that was not a "smart phone."

It was not that long ago that "evrthng pstd fr fon lkd lk ths." You will note that he didn't use an apostrophe, either.

Maybe he is just old and set in his ways. Let's give the little fellow the benefit of a doubt.

Part of the fun of being a fan of the SEC is trying to sort out the powers from the lowers at mid-season. With 4 teams in the top five of national polls, it's an experience that college football fans from other conferences can only dream about.

Not at all.

It's just funny to see the past couple weekends.

Miss. St. beats A&M - "Whoaaaa Miss St. is legit!"

Ole Miss beats A&M - "Whoaaa this Ole Miss team is for real!"

Alabama beats A&M - "Man A&M sucks, Alabama is overrated, Sumlin really isn't a HUNH coach anyway. Saban only wins against bad HUNH teams. "

They're not necessarily a terrible team....but after losing 2 weeks in a row and having nothing to play for....the team's packed it in for the season as evidenced by the game on Saturday.

....ok, actually, they looked terrible.
