You guys act like he is doing something wrong by adjusting to some of these spread offenses or something. Would a good coach sit back and keep getting his defense's shite pushed in by every spread team they play?

Perhaps technique is more of an issue than positioning.
Possibly but I saw more busted coverages this season than in the last two or three combined.
Anyway, poor technique is a good indication that a change in coaching was required. Kirby's ability to coach the secondary is what got him promoted to DC. I think it's a good move.

If people think Nuss didn't run the ball enough, then why hire Kiffin, whose offenses have always been pass happy?

I think a big part of it is that Kiffin has a good reputation for developing QBs and Bama could use some of that about now.

Kiffin will coach up the QB's and run Nicks's one back offense. You don't think we're gonna go all air raid with a backfield of future NFL RB's on the roster do you?

2 losses isn't acceptable here. Maybe you're fine with being anything less than the best, but Saban isn't.

thats how coaches melt down

Losing Two games in a row and another team scoring over 40 points against that great defense........I'd say you are in a decline. You can feel the Karma.
Last time we lost two in a row we came back and won the championship.

I'd be more worried about what kind of changes Lester is going to make to break the Bama losing streak.
Especially considering that with Hill, Landry, Beckham, and Mett all starting LSU was 0-2 against Bama and 1-1 against Ole Miss and damn near lost to Bert.

The greatest offense of all time with the best OC in the nation. And then the games began.

Because Bama doesn't settle for "being in the hunt"

Even like putting a second back on a clock. He's going to be trying to improve Alabama's position at every opportunity, whether it works out or not. If you ask 100 unbiased college football-savvy people who the best coach in college football is, I think you and I both know who'll get the most votes.

That's a relief. After losing two consecutive games, I figured Saban would feed his staff to a pack of starving dogs, like the little turd from North Korea did to his #2 man.

The honeymoon is over. The decline is inevitable.
