Likely will end up either 8-4 or 9-3. That's hardly bad considering that State "lost their whole team" from last season.

I think the OP really doesn't know. State hasn't been horrible at all. As a matter of fact, I think they will scare ,or beat, somebody they aren't expected to because people are sleeping on them.

Don't know how the La Tech game played out, but I was impressed by the score differential.

It might as well have been an 85 yard field goal because Mullen chose to kick from a distance that your kicker can't even reach the crossbar. Just because you attempted a kick to end the game, doesn't mean you had a chance to actually make it. It was about 8-10 yards beyond his range.

We have a young kicker who could have made that all day. He is 8/8 this year and several of those were from the same distance Devon Bell missed that from so you better thank your coon arse asses that Mullen had his typical Mullenism and didn't send him out there instead

Dude lsu whipped your arse in their first game of the season after you already had your tune up. Maybe you forget the two TD taken off the board and LSU taking its foot off their throat.

State was invited to the adult table last year.

After a meal or two, it was determined that they didn't really belong at the big table.

Got sent back to the kid's table.

Dropped 2 games that we were underdogs in. In the LSU game we were down by 2 with 20 seconds left at LSU's 28 yard line. We had a damn delay of game penalty that knocked us back 5 yards (when we had a timeout in our pocket). LSU's defense full of 5 star recruits actually tightened up for 2 plays. We then missed a 53 yard field goal with our backup punter.

Overall we aren't as good as last year due to losing 3 starters on the offensive line, 3 starting d lineman, 3 starting defensive backs, our running back Josh Robinson, and our MLB Mckinney. We have also altered our playcalling to keep Dak healthy and let him throw for the NFL scouts.

You're most likely up for the Rhodes scholar. Can't argue with LSU's dominance considering they had 2 td's called back... Forget lsu committed penalties on those plays. When catman88 enters, argument over.

They're still pretty good. I expect them to beat WAOM and Arkansas and finish 7-5 or 8-4.

If we beat OM and Arky then we likely end up 9-3 with our only other loss coming to Bama in Starkville. Our next 2 games are Kentucky at home and Missouri on the road and we should win those 2.

Hadn't bothered to look up the schedule but I would agree with 9-3, 8-4 if Kentucky somehow steals the win.

Saying LSU beat MSU pretty good this year is about as dumb as saying MSU blew LSU out last year.

The hypocrisy is strong in this thread.

So, two TDs were taken off the board? I think they were never put on the board because LSU did something illegal during the plays that nullified them. Took the foot off the throat? Could it be that the MSU defense bowed up and stopped them? Quit acting like a Gump. LSU fans should be above that.
