Not to mention the toll the investigations will take on the team this year.

Once you've had filet mignon (undefeated season), it's kinda hard going back to hamburger helper (7-8 win season).

Auburn, in 2007, also started 3 true freshman on the offensive line and finished with 9 wins (Lee Ziemba, Ryan Pugh, and that little bitch Chaz Ramsey).

Yea and that offense was ranked in the 100's range. Defense got you 9 wins that year and your 2011 defense is not scaring anyone.

They started, what - 3 freshmen on the offensive line? I know JaWuan James and James Stone started, but I'm not sure on the other.. Anyways, they played outstanding and were all highly touted/recruited out of high school. Tenessee finished the season with a 1,000 yard rusher and Tyler Bray looked outstanding (for a freshman) at quarterback. Even though they finished 6-7, it wasn't because of the offensive line.

Schofield (a RS Freshman) and Fulton (a true freshman) rotated at the guard spot.

And all of them struggled until the second half of the season, except Stone, who was decent in the first half, and very good in the back half.

I would be very happy with an 8 win season. Next year we'll return everyone but 2 on defense, and 2 (maybe 3) on offense. We should win 10-11 games next season.

After a couple of top 5 recruiting classes and an undefeated season.. that's kinda funny. And epitomizes Auburn.

how bad is it going to feel when Merlins' puts up 30+ on the plains and you have Bundy in your face for a year?

They did what they were supposed too. We also had a horrible QB and some pretty bad WRs. But we still rushed for over 2,000 yards that season.

Every time I glance at this board you're starting another thread about how everyone is underestimating auburn next year.

We get it. You've had amazing recruiting classes and you don't think there will be much dropoff in replacing pretty much all your starters. It's the same shite in every thread you start

I'll grab him a steak, some fine hookers, and a football video from Polk High back in the day and he'll forget all about it
