So CNN fixed the unqualified authorship issue? That's good. At the time it surprised me that CNN partnered with them considering how terrible their reputation was but it's not as if dedicated sports fans turned to CNN for sports news anyhow.
I still don't get the appeal. If you want to read stupid opinions then join a message board, at least then you can interact with the idiots. BR is, or used to be, like a zoo where you watched animals through one way glass, boards like the Rant are like the old Colosseum where you can actually jump in and fight the animals.

No they just added actual qualified journalist. They still have shitty authors, just not as many.

It started out as just a bunch of random bloggers.
Now it is as good as any sports site, better than a lot. They did sell for millions and have some good content pretty regularly.
The people that still act like they are a joke just aren't that bright or well informed and sorta have the sheep, go with the herd mentality around here.

CNN is a hell of a lot better than fox. Better than msnbc as well.
The cash is what matters. The millions they dropped on BR. BR has some good writers that write some of the best analytical sports articles anywhere.
Espn is still the best for sports articles, but BR is second for me.

Everyone has some shitty ones. Even Grantland has Bill Simmons who has turned into a clown.
Everyone isnt going to agree on everything. Point still stands. BR quit being garbage several years ago and has plenty of quality articles and contributors now.
