What exactly did a Arkansas gain for beating Ole Miss? A celebratory buffet? Is this the all that Arkansas has to hang their hat on???

Kinda sad IMO, IYAM

Well, Bama made it to the playoffs which meant Arkansas got 1/16th of the money Bama made for being there. Had Arky not beaten Ole Miss then the SEC has no team in the playoff.

Arkansas gained the ability to say that Arkansas > Alabama.

why are you so obsessed with Bama that you only see it as helping Bama win a NC?

Keeping Ole Miss from ascending to the next level isn't insignificant. Everyone knows Alabama is the top dog...then LSU and Auburn (in the last decade). The next 4 teams have been battling to get to the 2nd tier. Arkansas kept Ole Miss from doing it, giving them a better chance to become that next team.

Well, another notch in the 'win' column. That's always a positive.

Who would have ever guessed that a comment by the Arkansas head coach about a game versus Ole Miss that had an outcome on Bama would have so trolled the frick out of some Auburn posters? Two threads about it already is pretty impressive.
