Far be it from me to get mad about anyone hating Bama. I've heard some of us, and it makes me cringe.

And I have a completely irrational hatred of auburn. Even after this unholy disaster of a season, I still despise them.

So hate on, My Brothers!

ESPN watching goes down dramatically for me after football season, so it won't bother me.

What I look at is:

1. Alabama possibly being the one to stop the streak.

2. Alabama losing to arguably an even more storied program.

3. I know maybe 2-3 ND fans. I know about 10 times the amount of Bama fans (who like to talk trash)

I have very few reasons why I would root for Bama other than it being pretty awesome that one state has owned the 49 other states for almost half a decade.

Other than that

But by one state it has mainly been Alabama. We got one and have been crap every other year. I'm not gonna ride on their coat tails as a state. Frick them go ND.

Again, not the program or school. Top notch in everything, and you have to tip your hat.

But it's almost a daily basis I see or talk to at least one individual who thinks their self worth is better because they're a Bama "fan." And most of these people never, ever even stepped foot in Tuscaloosa, much less the campus itself.

I was shopping at Whole Foods in Baton Rouge a few weeks back and there was this middle aged woman by herself with a big red "21-0" shirt on. I'm sure she's well-versed in football knowledge. I'm sure she knows all about the University of Alabama.

I wanted to fricking falcon punch her.

It is still a novelty that we helped in. Novelty. That is all.

Thank you for being for Bama. I must say that I would be for any SEC school in same situation except Auburn or Tennessee. I respect LSU more than any other school because they are the so much like Alabama in the way they play the game.

I can't stand ND. The media hype surrounding them year in and out while they have been total shite is crazy. They are constantly living off past (ancient) greatness. Not a Bama fan but I hope they stomp them and put their elitist non conference arse back in their place.

It will be astronomically bad, in my mind, if ND wins this game. After all, they are as proudly entitled as you. And the media!!! Ha. Can you imagine watching sports news during the offseason and all through next year as we follow, week by week, the 'defending nat'l champs' run at another one?
This seems like a silly reason to choose whom to root for. I'm obviously in the minority on this board, but my panties remain wadless regardless of which team the "media" hypes. Who cares?

Its way more important for Bama fans to win this because the vast majority of them have nothing else in their life to be happy about. There is literally nothing else going on in that entire state that doesn't involve marrying relatives or seducing animals.

Good Lord! It was just a lady doing her grocery shopping, and you wanted to punch her because of the t-shirt she was wearing? WTF?

It's a damn good thing you don't live in a state where you have to see the fans of your arch-rival all over every public place around town.
