Why doesn't the SECN broadcast HS games?

They could do a game of the week, or even a couple with the alternate channels. Rotate the states.

I think it would really add to the programming.

Has this ever been discussed?

I'm guessing the same reason they nixed the Longhorn Network showing high school games. It could be seen as a recruiting advantage. In fact I think they made NCAA rules against it.

Byrnes High School (have won multiple national championships and is where Lattimore played ball) and Dorman High School (usually nationally ranked as well) would be the best options for South Carolina if this was a possibility. I'd watch the hell out of all of the games, as well.

They already do. South Carolina, Arkansas, and Kentucky play every Saturday.

Yeah, but the LHN was was based for a single team. I can see that, but this is an entire conference.

I don't know. I just want to watch some fricking football that isn't the NFL preseason. I enjoy HS games too. We occasionally get them on a public access channel here.

Yeah, it would be lost on me since I'm a ginger. Maybe that's why I have no problem slinging insults. Or maybe it's just bc I'm a bitch. Oh well.

Fair enough. I just think it would be preferable to the current Fri Night programming they had, and inevitably there would be a ton of SEC recruits playing in these games.

But recruits being recruited nationally by USC, Notre Dame, Michigan, etc. would see it as an advantage for SEC schools.
