The mods on this board have completely fallen asleep, thus the board is now largely unreadable. Every time I want to start a thread, I imagine the stupidity that is sure to ensue and head over to the OT for a more um cerebral experience.

At least the LSU entrepreneurs who started TigerDroppings, TigerRant, SECRant, etc. allow any and allllllllll fans to reply, post, and join this site.
More than I can say for some other schools' message boards (esp. one in particular), that only allow their own kind to even visit.

I think that Arkansas fans should be the only ones allowed to start a troll threads. They seem to have mastered the craft. It is sad watching State and A&M fans attempt it.

I blame it completely on the ghey additions ... A&M and Mizzou. They've pretty-much dragged the conference, and subsequently the SECr, down in terms of intelligent discussion and overall respectability.

Too many teams with high expectations. They all want to talk trash at the same time and it floods the board. Usually by now most top teams have beaten the lesser teams and those fans have calmed down.
Right now it's still almost like the off-season where everyone still thinks they are the best. It will get better as we play more conference games. Teams will start losing and realise they aren't as good as they thought and it will die down.

aTm posters for the most part TBH
I've been messageboarding for a long time now, and their group is as bad as I've seen on any sports board

The youngest team in the West lost a game to the most veteran team in the West; a result that was predicted by the majority of non-LSU fans. No LSU follower should be shocked by the loss but certainly has the right to be disappointed by the step back in execution(19 missed tackles). Still have a lot of hope that this team will get better by year's end and will contend for the West again, beginning next season.

Actually the last week or two (since the hammer was put down concerning bad threads) it has gotten a bit better - not much, but better.
There seems to be quite a few very young posters in here these days - I'm talking high school/first year of college-types. I think they cause much of the crap we see. But there will always be shitty posters, some who have been here for years (and you know who they are), some just creeping in.

I didn't realize just how young the team was until a few days ago. Even younger than Tennessee - but you wouldn't know it from the Vol's incessant whining that they are. You guys should be proud of your team's comebacks against Whisky and State. I would be.
I don't consider the win as big of an upset after knowing this. You have a bright future.
