Why does SEC softball only play 7 SEC series?

You would think they should at least play 10 like baseball does.

Probably because the people aren't clamoring to see more softball. Does any school profit from their softball program?

It's just weird you only play half the conference and LSU doesn't even play all the teams in the West, they skip A&M this year.

Wouldn't be shocked if Auburn has started to profit. You can't get tickets to softball games, even after they expanded the bleachers

They play more overall games than baseball. Not sure why so few conference games.

That's a good question. I'd like to think Alabama softball pays their own bills by now. But whether they clear a profit or not I don't know.

Is there not enough softball on the SEC Network already?

Almost as bad as football playing 56 conference games and 56 OOC games.
