QBU lets other schools sign them, then we bring them in when they are mature and develop them into Heisman winners.

The biggest reason is that Louisiana has not produced any elite QB prospects in years. Gone are the days of Joe Ferguson, Terry Bradshaw, Bert Jones, Doug Robinson, etc. are over. The Mannings are from New Orleans, but there was never any chance that they would go to LSU.

I’d love for Bama to snag him, but I think that’s an outside chance. Julian Sayin just stepped on campus, and I don’t know that Underwood would want to step into that type of competition. I can hope, but my gut tells me he ends up at LSU

That’s not the problem. We always struggled developing elite high school quarterbacks.

Maybe they just prefer to sign from the portal. It's a valid strategy

LSU has recruited elite high school QBs and added through the portal (just like Alabama). OP is an uneducated troll.
