Or it could be that he's simply annoying when there were WAY better options out there. Glad all you dipshits turned it into a political thing.

Maybe because some of us go to football to get away from politics? Or again, maybe he's annoying but yes, he's passionate about LSU. Great.

Out of all the people in that special, it seemed like Carville loved his university the most. I dont get the hate.

People can't separate politics from other areas. Carville is a great rep for LSU. He helped unseat an incumbent which is rare but because he is a dem most of our fans hate him.

Please link an instance where Carville brought up politics when he was on TV representing LSU. I'll sit back and wait.

Is there a more famous, non-athlete alum of LSU than Carville?

I'm not sure there is.

I love Carville. He's my favorite member of the Clinton administration.

I have personally seen Carville speak twice at LSU. He is a great speaker, very funny, very entertaining, and mostly keeps politics out (in both speeches he gave the ole "I failed my way to success" schtick).

Carville remains involved with LSU and gives a lot to the University.

Yeah there is nothing wrong with Carville at all. He is an excellent choice for the type of piece they did. I have a mental picture of the OP in my head and let me tell ya...it aint pretty.

Trust me there are a ton of Kentucky fans that hate having her as a representative for the school.

Most of those fans are football fans, though, so I'm not sure why an Alabama football fan would care?

Seriously, even MSU's former baseball player talked about MSU football and clips were shown of the Dawg Walk or whatever it is that MSU does for pre-game.

Kentucky got Ashley Judd talking about Rupp Arena and Kentucky basketball for 25 seconds.

The fact that he is married to Matlin is proof that Carville can get beyond politics.

I thought all of them were fine. Florida was the only one that got screwed having a former football player instead of a fan which I thought was the point
