It's a better fit for us. It has nothing to do with LSU and Bama, or Tennessee and Florida being down. Before expansion and divisions our biggest rivals after Bama were UGA, Tennessee, and Florida. We're geographically a better fit and overall closer to the east schools than the west schools. It just works. The only reason that we're not already in the East is so Bama could keep playing UT and us annually.

Could be a great move for AU. The Tigers could be a perennial 4th-5th place team over there, which would certainly help prop up the Gus regime.
